In this course, the presenter will introduce the concepts of brain science and how it applies to leadership, especially during stressful and challenging times. By understanding a few key brain dynamics, participants will learn why change is challenging for anyone, how to lead through change with a “brain friendly” approach, and what strategies can be employed to mitigate stress and get people’s buy-in. Finally, the presenter will discuss how leaders can manage their own stress in order to avoid burnout and enhance their leadership effectiveness.
